In the run-up to Easter, the Swiss company DeLafée, a privately held firm headquartered in Neuchâtel in French-speaking Switzerland, is selling its chocolate Easter bunny covered in 24-carat edible gold.

The rabbit is 11 cm (4.33 in.) high, and weighs 40 grams (1.4 oz.). It costs 63 Swiss francs ($63), excluding shipping. DeLafée sells the rabbit online.

The company’s product description says that the artisanal chocolate ‘’is made in Switzerland from the finest ‘grand cru’ Criollo cocoa beans from Ecuador and pure edible gold.’’
