Fine Chocolate Makers
Cambodia is heaven on earth when it comes to food. It is possible to eat cuisine from all over the world and you can find anything from Thai curries, Vietnamese Pho soup, fresh spring rolls, to English fish and chips. And then there is of course the traditional Khmer cuisine offering, among other things, BBQs, crispy, fried tarantula and the national dish called “Amok” (Fish cooked in coconut and served in a banana leave). Italian and Indian cuisines have also found their way to Cambodia with some amazing pizzas and delicious Indian curries.
And then there is of course the French heritage and all its delicacies. Cambodia was a French colony from 1887 – 1945 and even though Cambodia has gained independence many years ago, the evidence of the former French presence is still here as many streets are still called " Rue" this and that. Furthermore, the traditional baguette can be found on every street corner and in every bakery, sold from just around $ 0.25.
