Chocolate Gold Foil Coins

The Dagoba Organic milk chocolate bar is presented in a dark cafe au lait colored wrapper . On the front a darker, taupe inset has details of cocoa pods and leaves picked out in contrasting cream and taupe tones. The wrapper boasts that this chocolate is 37% cocoa, and weighs 2 oz (56.7g). Following the organic theme, the wrapper also states that the chocolate is certified kosher and gluten free, and that printing is done on recycled paper with a vegetable-based ink.

Ingredients are organic evaporated cane juice, cacao butter, milk powder and cacao beans, plus 0.5% non-genetically modified soy lecithin.

According to the wrapper, the name "Dagoba" means "temple of the gods." For the original creators of this chocolate, finding just the right blend of ingredients was akin to a religious experience. Many chocoholics will agree that chocolate is truly "theobroma," food of the gods, but does this gourmet chocolate fit that particular bill?
